The Kuantan River Cruise offers a scenic journey through the natural beauty and cultural heritage of Kuantan, Malaysia. Departing from Shahbandar Jetty, near the Municipal Council Office, the cruise navigates the Kuantan River, providing views of a 500-year-old mangrove forest reserve and traditional fishing villages.

1. River Mouth Tour (1 hour): Explore the South China Sea, fishermen's villages, and observe local wildlife such as white-bellied sea eagles and sea gulls. Cost: RM280 per trip (1-5 passengers).

2. Mangrove Park Tour (1 hour): Visit the mangrove park, a fish market, Japanese pillbox, and spot otters and crocodiles. Cost: RM280 per trip (1-5 passengers).

3. River Discovery Tour (2 hours): A combination of the River Mouth and Mangrove Park tours. Cost: RM480 per trip (1-5 passengers).

Operating Hours:

Cruises operate daily from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The Fireflies tour is conducted at night; early booking is recommended.

Additional Information:

The jetty is located off Jalan Besar. If you are coming from Teluk Chempedak, proceed towards Jalan Teluk Sisik and then into Jalan Besar. The jetty is on your left, just after a couple of hundred meters from Teruntum Complex.
